TrendMicro.comOverview:The Lab Systems Administrator will provide
ongoing maintenance and administration of datacenter
infrastructure, software, and systems used by support and training
personnel. Lab Systems Administrator will be responsible for
assisting the Lab Manager with ensuring continuous readiness and
availability of the Customer Support and Education Technical
Labs.Responsibilities may include:Racking/unracking enterprise
class data center network and server equipment, which may weigh up
to 50 lbs.Routing basic data center cablingLabeling of connections,
cables and associated servers and networking
equipment.Configuration and maintenance of security, network,
storage and server equipment under the oversight of the Lab
ManagerMaintaining security and regulatory compliance of servers,
storage and related infrastructureOperating System and software
installation, configuration and maintenance.Helpdesk ticket
managementInventory management and procurementDeveloping and
maintaining supporting documentation for infrastructureScripting,
automation and basic software developmentVirtualized infrastructure
administration and maintenance in VMWare, Azure, and AWS
environmentsEducation and Experience2+ years of professional
experienceDegree in related area of study, OR relevant
professional/technical experienceKnowledge and SkillsExcellent
communication skills, written and verbal skillsExperience
troubleshooting in a technical environmentAnalytical and problem
solving skillsSoftware and hardware knowledge of computing, storage
and peripheral devicesExperience administering directory services
such as Active Directory and associated services and protocols such
as DNS, LDAP, and Group policyKnowledge of network routing
protocols and Internet troubleshooting techniques (Routers,
Switches, VPN, etc.) is a plusKnowledge of information security
products and technologies (Intrusion Detection/Prevention,
Firewall, Advanced Threat, etc.) is a plusKnowledge of
virtualization and cloud concepts: VMware, AWS, Azure, KVM and Open
Stack (familiarity with deploying OVF and CloudFormation templates,
use of vMotion and distributed vSwitches) is a plusJob
requirements:Must have demonstrable understanding of the following
skills:Windows and Linux Server administrationActive Directory and
Group Policy administrationEthernet switching and routing concepts
and implementationIntroductory or intermediate experience with a
scripting language such as python or javaMust be technically
proficient in Racking and unracking enterprise data center network
and server equipmentMust be able to lift approximately 50lbs.Must
be able to cleanly install basic data center cabling and cable
