Job Description:
Front End Web Application Developer needed for Startup's Major
Summer Launch Opportunity to join a small, up-and-coming SaaS
startup and help spearhead a major product launch this Summer
alongside a partnership with a Global Leader in the Tools and
Equipment Space (Under NDA). In this web application developer
role, you will have the chance to make executive-level decisions
and have the rare opportunity to get in on the ground level as a
very early hire.Through our partnership with this Global Leader,
our product will be launched across the country and available
across many of their potential supply channels including Home
Depot, Lowes, Walmart, HD Supply, and many others.BitRip is a
multitool with unlimited "platform" potential using a
straightforward, patented capability. We truly believe this is a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for someone looking to make their
mark.BitRip in a NutshellBitRip is the world's first on-the-go QR
code. A smart roll of tape that holds a continuously changing,
scannable barcode. A user can rip a length of tape, stick it
anywhere, scan it, and upload any type of digital media to it on
the spot. It could be a voice memo, pictures, instruction manuals,
video links, or any other type of dynamic information that needs to
be tagged to a location. It's a digital version of a simple sticky
note. BitRip is also a location tracker. When someone scans to
access the information on the tape, they automatically punch GPS
location information onto the tape. So now users can track the last
known location of each digital label on a live map. Great for
asset, equipment, and material tracking. The power behind BitRip is
both its simplicity and versatility. We have proven
enterprise-level customers in construction material tracking,
facilities and maintenance, tool and equipment accountability,
construction checklists, moving and storage, personal ID, safety
voice tags, home DIY, and many more.Check out our website, watch
the videos, and learn more about us at www.bitrip.com The
Opportunity Since you will be an early hire, you'll have the chance
to make big decisions and shape company culture. As a proud veteran
and woman-owned startup, we care deeply about providing an equal
opportunity atmosphere for people to thrive and grow
professionally. With startups comes inherent risk. But, through
years of hard work, we have de-risked this venture. We have the
product in hand, eager customers, and a scaled go-to-market plan
largely solved with this significant partnership. As an early hire,
you'll be compensated with a market salary and considerable equity
(0.5%-1.5% depending on experience level). You'll step into the
role and quickly hit the ground running by further enhancing our
premium web application and finding ways to elegantly manage and
visualize vast sets of user data. This will be a career-defining
challenge. We value initiative and autonomy, especially at this
early stage in our company's history. Once the objective is
decided, you decide how to get there. You decide what work needs to
be done and when. You make the solution happen. No micromanagement.
