Job Identification : 200014VXJob Category : ConsultingJob Locations :United StatesJob Schedule : Full timeJob Shift : DayPosition : Data Services ETL Developer - OMCLocation : Nationwide (Preferred Location : North America)Data Services is a key team within the Oracle Marketing Cloud Consulting Organization responsible for designing and building new custom applications and data processing for Responsys, Eloqua and CX Audience Clients.The Data Services Consultant plays an important role in supporting top Clients delivering white glove service through the design, documentation and build cycle of custom projects.The successful candidate will have experience in supporting previous digital marketing ETL development. Expert level knowledge of the RI platform a plus. Knowledge of data management best practices, APIs, and application of project management and agile methodologies are key to the Consultants success.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reports up through the Manager of Data Services
  • Will work in partnership with the Solution Architect to design, implement, maintain data warehousing and data management solutions to support business reporting and analytics
  • Includes building source system data ETL processes, verifying data accuracy, design of complex interactions between data fields within the client solution
  • Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production
  • Designs, develops and automates reportsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
    • Strong analytical skills; ability to collect, organize, analyze and interpret data/information with key attention to detail
    • In-depth technical expertise regarding data models, data analysis and design, master data management, metadata management, data warehousing, business intelligence, data quality improvement
    • Proficiency in SQL building, maintaining and extracting data from relational databases
    • Proficiency in PL/SQL
    • Proficiency in bash shell scripting and UNIX
    • Understands relational database structure; design and maintain robust database schemas
    • Ability to research and implement best practice database management techniques
    • Strong skills in organization and time management
    • Communication skills and strong team work a must
    • Strong problem solving skillsEssential Job Duties
      • Design build and maintain ETL feeds for new and existing data sources
      • Ensuring ongoing accuracy of data ETL feeds, monitoring for changes in source systems
      • Per solution requirements, build appropriate linkages and relationships between data fields and the data warehouse
      • Documentation of all metadata including data source, field type, definition, etc. for each field and table created
      • SME for data sources, structure and definitions
      • Structuring data in a way that is easy to understand, query and displayRELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING
        • 5-7 years relevant experience in ETL development required
        • 2 years consulting experience preferred
        • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus
        • Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
        • Ability to travel as needed

        • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred
