Austin Telco toward True success. Summary: The primary role of the
Compensation and Benefits Manager is to be a strong leader on
benefits and compensation, including the processing of semi-monthly
payroll. This pivotal role involves conducting thorough
compensation analyses across the entire organization, crafting and
refining compensation levels tailored to job families and roles,
and conducting detailed job analyses and evaluations for emerging
positions. It also includes the administration of and education
about our comprehensive benefits package for staff. This role
involves having an overall knowledge of all human resource
functions. The Compensation and Benefits Manager promotes and
upholds the credit union's mission, values, and culture. They
provide outstanding communication and service to employees, serving
as an example of an engaged employee while also supporting overall
employee engagement throughout the credit union.Compensation:This
salary is commensurate with experience.Benefits include medical,

78759. This is an onsite position.What you'll be doing: Must
effectively carry out the essential duties and responsibilities of
this position in a manner that champions and promotes Austin
Telco's mission, core values, and culture; contributes positively
to achieving business plan objectives, goals, and outcomes; and
demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and respect in all
interactions. May perform other duties as assigned.Compensation and
Payroll:Develops, implements, and administers creative and
competitive solutions around compensation (base, bonuses, and
incentive plans) and HRIS practices and programs.Regularly analyzes
the company's competitive employment position around total rewards
and makes cost-effective recommendations consistent with the
company's objectives and competitive practices.Manage annual
compensation review processes, including salary increases and bonus
allocations.Prepare and present compensation reports and
recommendations to senior management. Is the payroll expert. Makes
recommendations for payroll-related policies. Provides training as
needed (i.e., managers, team members) to ensure compliance and full
utilization of tools. Process semimonthly payroll for employees,
including reviewing and importing hours from the time and
attendance system, confirming direct deposit information, and
administering regulatory requirements, e.g., garnishments, tax
levies, support orders, and other adjustments to pay as necessary.
Develop an in-depth understanding of payroll software and HRIS.
Create reports on demand. Responsible for month-end duties,
including approving HR-related invoices and ensuring timely
payment.Maintains vendor contact for HRIS and benefits-related
activities. Benefits Responsibilities:As the Employee Benefits
expert, administers all employee & volunteer benefit programs such
as medical, dental, vision, disability, retirement programs
(Defined Contribution 401(k) & Defined Benefit Plans. Process
tuition reimbursements, retirement notifications, workers
compensation and life insurance claims. Providing education to new
and current employees to gain an understanding of benefit plans and
Enrollment. Provide in-depth benefit presentations for all new
hires during the onboarding process. Plan Design: Conducts
research, analyzes plan options, conducts cost analysis, and makes
recommendations to SVP/CHRO.Responsible for data integrity for all
employees.Employee Leaves: Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA
implications as they relate to leaves of
absences/disabilities.Administer annual open enrollment period.
This includes preparation (or revision) and distribution of
materials, conducting meetings to communicate to employees, and
processing changes within deadlines. Address benefit inquiries to
ensure timely and accurate resolutions.Additional Skills and
Abilities: Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.Must be
extremely organized and able to multi-task.Must be able to work
independently with minimal supervision.Excellent written and verbal
communication skills to effectively interact with internal and
external stakeholders at all levels. Must be proficient in Excel
and skilled in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and
Outlook.Knowledge of federal regulations related to labor laws and
the HR area as a whole.Requirements:Required:High school diploma or
G.E.D equivalent.One+ years of compensation experience, including
payroll using a platform like Paylocity, ADP, or equivalent.
Minimum of three years of heavy benefit administration.Knowledge of
human resource laws and regulations.Understanding of human resource
policies and programs.Thorough knowledge of state and federal
regulations related to benefits administration.Preferred:A
bachelor's degree in human resource management or business
administration.Knowledge of Credit Union policies and
procedures.Knowledge of Performance Pro and CompEase.Professionally
certified in Human Resource Management (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.).Good
credit standing is also required and will be verified during the
pre-employment stage. Once a contingent job offer is made, a
