  The ideal candidate for the Human Resource Manager position will have experience in all areas of the Human Resource function. The position responsibilities include coaching & development, colleague engagement, leaves of absences, employee/labor relations, DE&I initiatives, counseling and training/development. This position will report to the Area Director of Human Resources.
  
  Some essential functions include but are not limited to:
  
  • Coach and counsel colleagues to reflect Hyatt service standards, adhering closely to policies and procedures.
  • Serves as the head of colleague engagement, coordinating employee functions and initiatives.
  • Works closely with third party to administer Leave of Absences
  • Serves as backup to Pay Master, completing weekly payroll for resort.
  • Brings to life Miraval's commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to include hosting colleague learning sessions and events
  • Works alongside Human resources team to onboard new colleagues
  • Works closely with department leaders to facilitate progressive discipline action including investigations.
  • Assists in the recruitment and hiring of senior leadership positions
