American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and
Delivery Transition Team position in Texas requiring an active TX
or compact RN license and recent L&D experience.
Responsibilities - Work in the Labor and Delivery Transition Team
in a hospital setting - Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM -
13-week contract assignment - Provides care for laboring,
delivering, and postpartum mothers - Responsible for supporting
mothers throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
process - Works as part of a collaborative team with other Labor
and Delivery staff - First-time travelers will be considered -
Scrub color and specific dress code will be discussed during
onboarding Requirements - Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience -
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
(ARC) certifications as required (no certification can expire
within the first 30 days of the contract) - No employment gaps of
90 days or more in the past 12 months - US Social Security Number
