Job Description:

Destination brewery seeking an experienced line and grill cook.We are a close knit team which values collaboration, positivity and creativity. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow and collaborate with our world class brewing and hospitality teams. Vista strives to source from local purveyors when possible, including vegetables and herbs grown onsite. We are looking to grow our team and inspire a passion for live fire cooking, local sourcing and Texas farms. Vista is a high-volume, weekend focused restaurant which also executes large banquets regularly. Pay rate is based on experience. Ongoing catering event bonuses. Available four day work week. Based at Vista's 21-acre Driftwood ranch with onsite farm & brewery.At Vista, you will have the opportunity to also work and learn across other departments (beer production, outside sales, culinary, farming and private events). Responsibilities:

• Communicate with cooks for proper pars and production requirements on each station
• Inventory and prep food items based on set par levels
• Produce food orders in a timely and consistent manner
• Taste food to ensure quality of meals served
• Adhere to food safety guidelines at all times
• Maintain proper rotation of food items (FIFO)
• Assist with farming duties when necessary
• Perform other duties or projects as requested by ChefQualifications:
  • Experience with large batch prep
  • Experience with live-fire cooking preferred
  • Must have exceptional standards for cleanliness and organization
  • Positive attitude, team player mentality and an honest work ethic
  • Knowledge and passion for local farming, seasonality, sustainability and hyper local goods
  • Willingness to ask questions on how to execute tasks
  • Strong personal organization skills
  • Food handler certification
