Job Description:

Henbit a concept by Chef Kevin Fink and Emmer and Rye Hospitality, is looking for a sous chef. A farm to table restaurant located in downtown Austin. The menu focuses on local ingredients prepared in a fast-casual setting. - -As the Sous Chef at Henbit, you will help coordinate the day in a positive and organized fashion. Support the team, ensuring that prep is on target, maintaining a clean facility, and being the face of Henbit. You will work closely with the management team to help ensure that food costs are in line as well as creating new menu items with CDC. You will be pushed to focus on quality and consistency in a large volume environment with a small space. -We are looking for a person who is organized, works well under pressure, and has a positive energy. Prior Management and kitchen experience is a plus. -Salary based on experience.
