Job Description:
National Emergency Medicine organization has several opening in
Austin, TX. There are several opportunities in the area to choose
from. Large metro population, large international airport,
fantastic schools and universities, endless amenities. No state
income tax.ED Volume: 49,000. Academic teaching site with 8 EM
residents per year. 3-year Emergency Medicine residency program
established in 2012. The EMS Fellowship since 2021. ED Beds: 53.
Observation Beds: 16. Admission Rate: 22%. Trauma Designation:
Level I. Coverage: 8-hour shifts with 48 hours of physician
coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage. Separate observation unit
with 30 hours/day APP coverage. Documentation: Cerner/CPOE and
PowerNote.
