Home Health Physical Therapist (PRN) Physical Therapist (PT) - Join Our Team at Varco Home Health Varco Home Health is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team serving Austin Texas. We are needing coverage in the Northwest, Northeast, Southwest and Southeast. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, offering the flexibility to work your own hours, making it an ideal opportunity for clinicians seeking work-life balance or supplemental income. We are looking for a clinician who is patient-centered, dependable, and committed to delivering evidence-based care that meets each patient’s individual needs. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate Patients: Assess patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting to develop comprehensive care plans. Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, and managing pain. Patient and Caregiver Education: Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, safety strategies, and adaptive techniques to support ongoing care. Resumption Of Care Visits: Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Deliver Compassionate Care: Provide high-quality, empathetic care, with a focus on empowering patients to improve their independence and quality of life. Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas (TX) Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Previous experience in home health or rehabilitative settings is preferred Ability to adapt care approaches to meet the individual needs of patients Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and best practices Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional, patient-centered demeanor when interacting with patients and families Kinnser/Wellsky EMR experience preferred Work Location: On the Road (Serving Austin Texas) Pay Rate: 60-70 per visit Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: On the road
