nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Austin,
Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40
hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN
Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for
ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside
experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5
weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the
initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n
RN - Cardiac Cath Lab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through
Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM /n• 13-week contract assignment /n•
On-call requirements from 3:00 PM to 6:30 AM weekdays and 48 hours
on weekends /n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS /n• Minimum 1
year of cardiac catheterization lab experience required /n• RCIS
certification preferred /n• Work with cardiovascular invasive
equipment and Meditech EMR system /n• Perform cardiac
catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, pacemaker and
defibrillator implants /n• Patient ratio varies based on procedures
and unit needs /n• Work alongside team of 4 RNs and 3
cardiovascular technicians /n• Must be a team player with strong
collaborative skills /n• Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs /n•
8-bed cardiac catheterization laboratory on first floor of main
building /n/n Facility: /n This medical center features a
comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory equipped with
state-of-the-art cardiovascular invasive technology. The facility
operates an 8-bed unit with a dedicated team of healthcare
professionals specializing in cardiovascular procedures. The
organization utilizes Meditech EMR systems and maintains high
standards for cardiac care, performing a full range of
cardiovascular interventions including catheterizations, PCI
procedures, peripheral interventions, and device implantations.
