Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,620 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN - Intensive Care Unit Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms Experience with titratable drips Understanding of hemodynamics Experience with respiratory patients: vents, BiPAP, tracheostomies, airvo Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role requires no on-call duties. The typical patient ratio is 1:1 or 2:1 depending on patient needs. The unit has a total of 20 beds with a staff of 55. Key procedures performed in this unit include central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, lumbar punctures, and intubation. Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude and adaptability. The dress code requires navy scrubs. Preferred skills include experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and SLED. This position may also involve weekends, with a requirement of 6 weekend shifts across a schedule for night shifts. The unit is equipped with GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, and advanced respiratory equipment. The hiring profile prioritizes candidates with critical care experience.
