experience Description: Contract position for an RN in a CVICU
setting. The contract duration is for 13 weeks. This position
operates on a day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Candidates must
have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the relevant field. The
role requires a valid nursing license. Previous experience with
cardiac patients is mandatory. This unit consists of 14 beds and
has staffing levels of 48 direct reports. Staff composition
includes a Charge Nurse and several RNs based on patient acuity.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1 or 1:2, depending on patient
needs. The unit utilizes various types of advanced medical
equipment including CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO. Typical
procedures performed include CABG, valve surgeries, ECMO
cannulation, and dialysis. Candidates should possess strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Feedback should be received constructively, ensuring the highest
care standards are maintained. The dress code requires navy blue
