Job Description:
Encompass Health is searching for a Licensed Vocational Nurse
(LVN) committed to providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic
rehabilitation environment. Our LVNs contribute significantly to
our mission of setting the standard for comprehensive, personalized
rehabilitation. This role requires strong clinical abilities and a
passion for aiding recovery, directing you to work closely with a
team of skilled professionals to aid patients dealing with stroke,
brain injuries, and complex orthopedic conditions. Overseeing
patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with
physicians and therapists are daily tasks that contribute towards
enhancing patient independence. Monitor and record patient
condition and document care provided Administer prescribed
medications and treatment promptly Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient treatment
plans Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and
therapy goals Ensure the compassionate, professional delivery of
all dialysis-related nursing services in accordance with facility
policies Assist with the development and revision of nursing care
plans Thorough knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
Excellent team cooperation and problem-solving skills Ability to
handle medical information discretely Superior written and verbal
communication skills Proficiency with medical software used for
patient management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Licensed Vocational
Nurse (LVN) CPR Certified
