Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking dedicated LPNs (Licensed Practical
Nurses) or LVNs (Licensed Vocational Nurses) to provide exceptional
care at our inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Our network
specializes in rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke,
brain injuries, and complex neurological and orthopedic conditions,
aiming to help them achieve maximum independence. We offer both
full-time and PRN (pro re nata, or as needed) positions to
accommodate your lifestyle needs. Provide high-quality patient care
under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians Monitor
patient health and administer basic patient care Support the
implementation of patient care plans Assist with the mobility and
physical therapies of patients Document patient progress and
communicate status to the care team Prepare and administer
medications as directed by a physician Educate patients and their
families on treatment regimens and home care Strong interpersonal
and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a
team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with strong observational
skills Capability to handle physically demanding tasks Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active LPN or LVN
license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required, Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus
