Details - Outpatient clinic setting specializing in general orthopedics, including total joint replacements and rotator cuff repairs - Full-time schedule of 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM - 13-week contract Requirements - Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience, preferably in outpatient orthopedics - Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; DPT preferred - Active TX PT license required (compact license accepted); license required if applicable - Current BLS certification required (AHA only) - Proficiency with standard rehabilitation equipment and multiple computer systems - 2 professional references required for consideration - Date of birth and SSN required for consideration - Flu shot required; no exemptions accepted Additional Information - Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, patient and family education, and discharge planning - Clinical documentation, accurate charge entry, and understanding of reimbursement practices are expected - Role includes supervision of support staff, students, and volunteers - Royal blue scrubs required - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted - Candidates who have previously worked as a permanent employee at any facility in this health system may have restricted eligibility American Traveler Job ID P-686669.
