Job Description:
Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is
seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our diverse team.
This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients
with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders. Working within our
network of hospitals, the ideal candidate will uphold our

values personal and professional growth. Perform diagnostic tests
such as measuring lung capacity and analyzing blood samples to
determine levels of oxygen and other gases. Manage ventilators and
artificial airway devices for patients who cannot breathe normally
on their own. Educate patients and families about lung health and
disease prevention. Participate in emergency care and intensive
treatment teams. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to
tailor and implement comprehensive care plans. Record and
communicate clinical findings and treatment plans effectively.
Proficiency in using various respiratory care equipment and
devices. Strong understanding of respiratory conditions and
treatment protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to work in high-pressure situations. Initiative and
problem-solving capabilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory
Therapist (CRT) required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by
the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
