based upon position type and/or level. Job Summary You, as Director
of Nursing, will plan, direct, and coordinate clinical services.
Offer guidance in all care areas, overseeing inpatient and
outpatient services in various healthcare facilities. You will
oversee patient care departments. Areas include social services,
ambulatory care, cardiology, rehabilitation, emergency medicine,
and pharmacy. You'll implement clinical priorities in line with
patient care vision. Your input will implement protocols and
policies. You'll develop patient care models and drive nursing
quality improvements. Ensure operational efficiency, high standards
of care, and top-notch patient service. Essential Functions of the
Role - Providing direction for all nursing services within your
area of responsibility. - Designing and executing operational plans
for nursing services that align with our overarching business
goals. - Regularly check work to ensure it meets standards. Make
adjustments if work falls short of standards. - Setting
unit-specific improvement goals, reporting progress to senior
leadership and quality control councils for review. - Undertaking
thorough investigations of adverse events, examining data,
discerning trends, and identifying opportunities for advancement. -
Passionately working with departments beyond nursing to create
processes that enhance patient care and satisfaction. - Regularly
observing and interacting with clinical environments to know
patient needs and communicate findings. - Ensuring all activities
in your area of responsibility adhere to all legal, regulatory,
licensing, and accrediting requirements. - Tailoring metrics,
dashboards, and tools to oversee service delivery and pinpoint
areas for improvement and education. Key Success Factors - Working
across various departments and clinical disciplines within large,
complex healthcare organizations is an additional desirable
experience. - Aptitude in resolving issues and applying critical
thinking is key to success. - Excellent communication and

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree, Master's highly
preferred - EXPERIENCE - (3) Three Years of Experience -
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN) - Basic
Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitate (CPR): BLS or CPR
Required.
