Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,941 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/5/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Austin, Texas, 78723! Job Title: RN CVICU-Peds Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 36 guaranteed hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: 2 years of Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience is required. Description: This position involves working in a high acuity and fast-paced cardiovascular stand-alone unit. Experience with congenital heart disease and defects is necessary. Previous exposure to surgical congenital heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplants, and VAD/Berlin devices is required. The age range of patients includes neonatal through young adult, with occasional adult congenital heart disease patients. Nurse-to-patient ratios by shift are 1:1, 1:2 for ICU status, and 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU care.
