They ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and accurate imaging while following medical protocols and radiation safety standards. Key Responsibilities - Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering questions - Position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images - Operate imaging equipment (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, or mammography machines) - Follow radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff - Review images for quality and clarity before submitting to radiologists - Maintain patient records and imaging documentation - Assist radiologists during procedures when required - Maintain and clean imaging equipment - Monitor patients for comfort and safety during procedures Education & Qualifications - Diploma or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or medical Imaging - Certification or registration with relevant licensing body (varies by country/state) - Knowledge of radiation safety standards and imaging protocols - Clinical training or internship experience preferred Required Skills - Strong attention to detail - Technical proficiency with imaging equipment - Good communication and patient care skills - Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare settings - Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology - Problem-solving and critical thinking About Pyramid Consulting Supercharge your career with Pyramid Consulting.
