Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Trauma ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • No on-call requirements • 13-week contract assignment • Work in 10-bed Shock Trauma Intensive Care Unit • Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHHS • Preferred certifications: TNCC or CATN • Trauma ICU or Surgical ICU experience strongly preferred • Must perform and document patient assessments, create and revise care plans • Administer and document medications, implement physician orders correctly • Handle typical procedures including EVDs/Bolts, arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube insertions • Work with GE bedside monitors and Alaris pumps • Use Meditech EMR system • Navy blue scrubs required • Must demonstrate teamwork and remain calm under pressure • Escalate patient issues correctly and efficiently Facility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized 10-bed Shock Trauma Intensive Care Unit located on the 3rd floor of the North Tower. The unit maintains a 1:2 or 1:1 patient ratio and utilizes modern equipment including GE bedside monitors and Alaris pumps.
