ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PACU Job Details: • Work 4 x 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM • Day off rotation schedule • Call requirements with rotating weekends • 13-week contract assignment • 1:1 patient ratio in 5-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit • Work with GE monitors and Meditech EMR system • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills • Critical care and PACU experience preferred • Perform typical procedures including cardioversion, recovery care, EKGs, assessments, and patient education • Navy scrubs required • Ideal candidate is pro-active, self-motivated, and collaborative • Work alongside 3-4 RNs on day shift depending on case schedule Facility: This specialized cardiac facility focuses on providing comprehensive heart care services with a dedicated Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
