Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric CVICU Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,939 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/8/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Peds CVICU RN in Austin, Texas, 78723! Job Title: RN CVICU-Peds Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU Duration: 13 months Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 3 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: ACLS preferred Description: 18 months minimum Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience is required. Nurse to Patient Ratio by shift is 1:1 for critical care, 1:2 for ICU status, and 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU in overflow unit. The unit consists of a 24-bed Pediatric cardiac ICU and a 12-bed overflow unit. Patients typically present with congenital heart disease/defects, post-surgical repair, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant, and VAD. The age range of patients includes neonatal through young adult, with occasional adult congenital heart disease patients.
