Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS,
ACLS Must-Have: - OR circulator experience - Ability to fulfill
rotating call (one night a week minimum, one weekend per 5-week
schedule minimum) Description: Call rotation includes one weekend
and one weeknight shift. Unit information includes 5 operating
rooms. Current staffing consists of 5 full-time RNs, including
Manager and Boardrunner. There are 2 part-time RNs available, with
one currently on leave. Additionally, there are 3 PRN RNs, with
open positions for 4 full-time nurses. The unit is supported by 12
surgical techs. Staffing patterns include 1 charge nurse and 1
manager during the day shift. Day shift comprises 3 RNs, 1
day/evening nurse two days a week, and 1 attendant. The evening
shift includes 1 nurse on call and 1 evening nurse until 19:00 for
two nights a week. Patient ratios are 1 to 1. Basic operating room
equipment includes cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equipment,
and positioning equipment. The electronic medical record system
used is Meditech. Preferred candidates will have experience in
orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology,
vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic procedures. The ideal
candidate will be flexible, caring, compassionate, and possess a
