Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory
Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This role involves working
closely within a healthcare setting, aiming to provide exceptional
respiratory care to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary
disorders. The Respiratory Care Practitioner at HCA Healthcare will
administer treatments, manage ventilation systems, and respond to
respiratory emergencies, ensuring compliance with current medical
standards and regulations. At nearly 2,000 sites of care, including
top-tier hospitals and medical facilities, our RRTs are essential
to our mission of improving human life by providing compassionate
and meticulous respiratory care. Assess and monitor patient
respiratory conditions through diagnostic testing and blood gas
analysis. Recommend and implement therapeutic interventions for
effective respiratory care. Operate and manage ventilator support
and other respiratory care devices. Educate patients and families
on respiratory health and treatment plans. Maintain patient safety
and comply with healthcare protocols and procedures. Collaborate
with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient
care. Proficiency in ventilator management Strong analytical and
diagnosis skills Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to handle stress and make quick decisions in emergency
situations Technical proficiency with respiratory equipment Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) BLS certification; ACLS
certification is preferred
