Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technician
to join our faith-based healthcare organization. As an integral
part of our team, you will contribute to our mission of
transforming healthcare through innovation and compassionate,
personalized care. In our state-of-the-art catheterization labs,
you will assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular
conditions, supporting our commitment to improving health outcomes
in the communities we serve. Prepare patients for procedures by
taking medical histories and answering questions. Assist physicians
during catheterization procedures, angioplasties, pacemaker
implantation, and other cardiovascular procedures. Operate and
monitor imaging equipment to help diagnose and treat cardiac
ailments. Maintain and prepare sterile environments and equipment
according to protocol. Record, analyze and document diagnostic data
for review by physicians. Provide postoperative care and
instructions to patients following procedures. Collaborate with
healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate
patient care plans. Strong technical proficiency in using cath lab
equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology Ability to work as part
of a team in high-pressure situations Strong attention to detail
and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Cardiographic
Technician (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
(RCIS) certification preferred.
