Job Description:
At Southern Health Partners, a leader in correctional
healthcare, we are currently seeking compassionate and skilled
nurses to become a part of our dedicated nursing team in Gillespie
County. This position offers a unique opportunity to bring
high-quality medical services while ensuring the welfare of the
inmates. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with a
group of healthcare professionals committed to making a difference
in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Provide nursing care in
accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of
the healthcare organization. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
inmate/patient care plans in a correctional setting. Collaborate
with multidisciplinary team members to improve care outcomes.
Administer medications, track vaccinations, and maintain medical
records. Respond to medical emergencies and ensure the delivery of
timely and appropriate care. Educate inmates about health
management and disease prevention. Strong assessment and diagnostic
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
handle high-stress situations and make critical decisions
Proficient in the use of medical software for record keeping
Compassionate and patient-centered approach Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification or higher CPR certified
