Job Description:
Ascension seeks a dedicated Lead Interventional Radiology
Technician to supervise and operate our cutting-edge radiologic
technology in a dynamic hospital setting. The successful candidate
will lead a team of imaging professionals and will be pivotal in
our mission to deliver personalized and compassionate patient care
through innovative medical practices. This role calls for high
technical proficiency in diagnostic imaging and an unyielding
commitment to patient health and safety, reflecting Ascension’s

approach. Supervise a team of interventional radiology technicians,
ensuring that all healthcare standards, safety protocols, and
internal policies are maintained. Operate and maintain advanced
radiologic technologies to assist physicians during invasive
procedures. Collaborate with other medical professionals to plan
and evaluate clinical procedures that involve radiologic
technology. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff,
fostering a supportive and educational environment. Manage
scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation for the
interventional radiology department to optimize efficiency and
patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulatory
requirements and participate in audits and reviews. Regularly
review and implement new technologies and methods to enhance
service delivery and patient care. Advanced knowledge of radiologic
technology and equipment Strong leadership and team management
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving abilities and efficiency in high-pressure
environments Commitment to ongoing professional development and
