Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care
Unit – TexasStart Date: January 27, 2026 Location: San Antonio,
Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends,
36 guaranteed hours per week Highlights: 13 or 26-week assignment
in a high-acuity CVICU within a renowned medical center Care for
post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization patients with
advanced cardiac support devices including IABP, Impella, and ECMO
Utilize Meditech documentation system for charting and order entry
Rotating day and night shifts with no call requirements Work within
a faith-based healthcare organization with over 50 years of
patient-centered care excellence Requirements: Active Texas RN
License (temporary licenses not accepted) Minimum 2 years of ICU
experience required Current ACLS and BLS certifications NIH Stroke
Scale certification required Strong critical thinking skills and
clinical judgment Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring including
Swan-Ganz catheters and arterial lines Competency in ventilator
management and advanced cardiac care Experience with IABP and CRRT
preferred Familiarity with Meditech charting/order entry preferred
