Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – South Texas Start Date: February 6, 2026 Location: South Texas Region Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 hours per week | Rotating weekends | No call required Highlights: 13-week assignment in an 11-bed Emergency Department with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios Self-scheduling system managed collaboratively with unit leadership Work with Meditech documentation system; experience with Meditech/EDM preferred Active participation in STEMI and Stroke processes, ESI triage, splinting, and assisting with procedures including chest tubes, central lines, and lumbar punctures Part of a faith-based healthcare system with Hospital Safety Grade of "A" from The Leapfrog Group Located approximately 45 minutes from San Antonio, offering small-town healthcare with big-city access Requirements: Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted) Minimum 2.5 years of Emergency Department experience Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC certifications Current PALS or ENPC certification Proficiency in ESI triage, emergency stabilization procedures, and critical care interventions Excellent time management and communication skills Flexibility to float as needed per facility policy Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a compassionate, experienced clinical team at a community hospital committed to patient safety and quality care.
