Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: San Antonio, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,875 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 08 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with EGD, Colonoscopy, and ERCP procedures. Candidates must be able to perform moderate sedation with another RN. Description: Call is required and weekends will alternate. Unit is a GI/Endoscopy Lab with limited bed capacity. The staffing includes Full-Time RNs, Part-Time RNs, and PRN RNs as well as technicians. Day shift consists of 2 RNs and 2-3 technicians depending on the caseload. Night shift follows a 1:1 patient ratio. Equipment includes Olympus scopes, Medivator, and Scope Buddy. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Preferred candidates should have experience with Bronchoscopy and EBUS. Typical procedures performed include EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCPs, Bronchoscopies, EBUS, and robotic bronchoscopies. Occasional procedures may include thoracentesis and Pleur-X placement. Candidates should possess a personality that fits well with a collaborative team environment.
