Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Austin, TX Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,378 to $1,572 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title CONTRACT - RN - PICU (645) - 13 WEEKS - 7:00P-7:00A City/State: Austin, Texas Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:00 Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 02/23/2026 Job Description: This position involves working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role requires managing pediatric patients requiring intensive care. Responsibilities: Provide intensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU. Administer medications and manage ventilated patients. Monitor and document patient condition and care provided using Meditech EMR. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. Requirements: Current RN license and PALS certification. Previous PICU experience with competency in managing vents and drips. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred: NICU experience and 1-2 years of PICU experience.
