Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: San Antonio, TX Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,350 to $1,544 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Thrive Staffing to find a qualified CVICU RN in San Antonio, Texas, 78229! Job Title City/State: San Antonio, Texas Shift: 19:00-07:00, Nights Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 01/19/2026 Job Description: Registered Nurse needed for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to provide specialized care for critical patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management. Responsibilities: Manage patients on hemodynamic monitoring, including swans and arterial lines Perform ventilator management for critical care patients Exhibit strong critical thinking skills in patient care Float between units as required, in adherence to the floating policy Requirements: Minimum 2 years ICU experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications NIH certification required Active TX RN License; temporary licenses are not accepted Experience with Meditech charting is preferred Exposure to IABP, CRRT, and post-cardiac procedures is advantageous 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new environments, team dynamics, and patient populations fosters adaptability.
