Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking dedicated Licensed
Practical Nurses (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join
our teams across various inpatient, rehabilitation, and home-based
settings. As a vital member of our nursing team, you will provide
top-tier patient care, support rehabilitation activities, and
enhance patient outcomes. This role requires a compassionate
professional with exceptional clinical skills and a passion for
patient care, adaptable to day or night shifts as needed.
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
within a healthcare setting. Monitor and report changes in patient
symptoms or behavior to supervising healthcare provider. Maintain
accurate patient medical records and report any discrepancies to
the healthcare team. Educate patients and their families on health
maintenance and disease prevention. Facilitate communication
between patients, family members, and the healthcare team to ensure
the accuracy of information and continuity of care. Proficiency in
administering medication and providing vaccinations. Skilled in
wound dressing and general patient care. Ability to operate medical
equipment like blood pressure monitors. Strong organizational and
interpersonal communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid and active LPN or LVN
license. BLS certification preferred but not mandatory.
