Resolute Rehabilitation at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Round Rock is a 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit located at 4681 College Park Drive in Round Rock, Texas. It's designed to help patients recover from serious illness, injury, or surgery-especially those transitioning from intensive care. - Specialized Rehab Services: Offers intensive therapy for conditions like stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma, neurological disorders, amputation, and other complex conditions. - Therapy Intensity: Patients typically receive 15 hours of therapy per week, guided by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and therapists. - Modern Facility: Located on the first floor, the unit is equipped with advanced rehab equipment and designed to support recovery in a focused, patient-centered environment. How you'll contribute The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement. Essential Functions - Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities. - Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs. - Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals. - Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately. - Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination. - Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Information - Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required. Qualifications and requirements: - Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. - Experience: Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred. - License: Current SLP license and ASHA certification. - Certifications: CPR certification required.
