Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist or
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support elementary-aged
students in a school setting located in Bastrop, TX. This contract
position runs through May 27, 2026, offering a full-time schedule
of 37.5 hours per week over five days. The role focuses on
providing essential speech and language services to a caseload of
approximately 75 students, primarily at the elementary level.
Qualifications & Requirements: Active Texas SLP License or active
SLPA license Credentials may include SLP with CCC, SLP Pediatrics,
SLP CFY, SLPA School, or specialized School-based SLP experience
Bilingual in Spanish is mandatory to effectively communicate with
and serve the student population Must be willing to work on-site
for three days per week; these days may vary weekly Must maintain
up-to-date testing and service procedures to qualify for virtual
service days Strong commitment to pediatric speech-language support
within school environments Responsibilities: Administer speech and
language assessments and interventions using district-supplied
computer and testing materials Collaborate with educators,
families, and other professionals to develop and implement
individualized education programs (IEPs) Deliver on-site and
occasional virtual therapy sessions, maintaining thorough
documentation as required Adapt services to meet diverse student
