Radiology Tech Location: Temple, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiologic Tech Specialty: Radiologic Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hrs NOC Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: ARRT, TMB Certifications: BLS (AHA Only) Must-Have: Proficient and confident to work independently in a busy Level I Trauma ED. Description: The Radiologic Technologist performs radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury. Procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols. High quality radiology procedures are performed in a timely manner. Production and quality of imaging procedures are maintained by following established standards and procedures. Understanding of radiation dose reference levels, radiation dose monitoring, and appropriate actions to take if dose levels are exceeded is required. Utilizes effective communication techniques to identify patient service requirements and ensure correct exams are performed. Instructs and communicates with patients and their families regarding the test to be performed. Assesses the patient's ability to tolerate the exam. Prepares the patient and area for procedures by positioning the patient and adjusting equipment as needed. Adheres to safety requirements, infection-control protocols, and techniques. Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards. Reports equipment issues to appropriate departments and assists in maintaining supplies inventory. Ensures individuals are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies. Obtains, verifies, and maintains all relevant documentation, including requisition/chart, patient history, and consent forms. Maintains medical imaging records according to department policies. Ability to perform tasks independently without routine oversight is required. Maintains a calm and helpful attitude during stressful situations. Able to effectively administer first aid. Ensures customer satisfaction by limiting wait times and providing courteous service. Demonstrates and maintains current knowledge and skills appropriate for various age groups. Serves as a preceptor by providing quality training to new team members. Ability to take call if required is expected. This description is intended to outline essential job functions.
