Radiology Tech Location: Waco, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,306 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiologic Tech Specialty: Radiologic Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: ARRT, MRT Certifications: BLS (AHA Only) Must-Have: Experience in fluoro, OR (c-arm, O-Arm), trauma, portables Description: The Radiologic Technologist performs radiology procedures on patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. Performs high-quality radiology procedures, according to exam protocol, in a timely manner. Maintains production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures. Demonstrates understanding of radiation dose reference levels and monitoring. Utilizes effective communication techniques when interacting with patients to identify service requirements, ensure correct exams are performed, and establish rapport. Instructs and communicates with patients and their families about the tests to be performed. Prepares patients and the area for procedures by positioning patients and adjusting equipment as necessary. Protects patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements and infection-control policies. Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards. Reports issues to management or the appropriate department. Ensures individuals are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies and procedures. Maintains all relevant documentation such as requisitions, patient history, and consent forms. Maintains medical imaging records according to policies and standards for timely interpretation. Able to provide services in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner in compliance with established standards. Able to perform tasks independently without the need for routine oversight. Able to maintain a calm and helpful attitude under stress and take appropriate steps to resolve issues. Demonstrates ability to effectively administer first aid and use emergency equipment. Ensures customer satisfaction by limiting wait times and providing courteous service. Demonstrates and maintains current knowledge and skills appropriate for all age groups. Able to serve as a preceptor by providing quality training to new team members. Available to take call if required. Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
