Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,166 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Austin, Texas, 78704! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Bone Marrow Transplant Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active nursing license Certifications: - ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification (15.25 contact hours) Must-Have: - Oncology experience - Chemotherapy certification through ONS/ONCC Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Bone Marrow Transplant. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. On-call duty is not required. Candidates must have TCT experience. The position requires the full ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification. Due to the high volume of chemotherapy administered, the fundamental certificate will not suffice. Special procedures in the ordering, storage, preparation, administration, transport, and disposal of antineoplastic medications are necessary for personnel safety. Only RNs with documented competency and successful completion of the ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certificate course may administer chemotherapy. Employees who are pregnant or breastfeeding shall not prepare chemotherapy. The unit has 24 beds. The patient ratio is 1:3 or 1:4. Staff consists of Registered Nurses and Patient Care Technicians. Attention to detail and the ability to work as a team player are essential. Scrub color is navy. No artificial or gel nails are allowed. Masks are required in patient care areas.
