Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Texas Start Date: December 22, 2025 Location: Austin, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week contract, night shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating every other weekend, no call requirements Highlights: - Work in a Beacon Award winning unit and designated Center for Hope - 1:2 or 1:3 patient ratios in a 24-bed ICU setting - Procedures include line placements, vent management, drip titration, and pre/post-operative care - EMR system: Meditech - Collaborative team of experienced ICU professionals with supportive charge nurse coverage - Night shift with dedicated PCT or nurse tasker support Requirements: - Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - NIH Stroke Scale certification required - ICU experience preferred - BSN and CCRN certification preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a nationally recognized, award-winning critical care team that values excellence and compassionate patient care.
