to find a qualified OR RN in Austin, Texas, 78704! Job Title: RN -
OR/Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Friday to Sunday Hours per Shift: 12
hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license
Certifications: Scrub or Circulating experience Must-Have:
Candidates must have 2 years of scrub or circulating experience.
Description: This is a backfill contract position for an RN in the
OR/Surgery. The duration of this assignment is 13 weeks. Candidates
will work a Friday to Sunday shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The
unit features 14 operating rooms, including 2 specialized heart
rooms. There are 90 staff members on the team, including RNs,
techs, and attendants. Day shift consists of a charge nurse, 16
RNs, and 16 techs. Night shift is composed of 2 RNs and 2 techs.
Patient ratios and the type of equipment utilized will be discussed
during the interview process. Candidates will work with EMR
Meditech. Permanent positions are available in the unit. Typical
procedures performed include general surgery, gynecology, neuro,
orthopedics, plastics, vascular, ENT, and urology. The unit values
flexibility and a positive attitude. Scrubs will be provided in
ciel blue color. The unit has been recognized with multiple awards,
including Unit of Distinction accolades. Candidates with experience
in robotics, neuro, orthopedic, or trauma are preferred but not
