Job Description Family Physician - Austin, TX Full Time/Permanent Healthcare Setting: Outpatient Job Summary: We provide Comprehensive Preventive, Diagnostic, and Chronic Disease Management for individuals and families throughout the Austin, Texas area. We are seeking an MD for our outpatient Clinic with Family Practice experience and an open mind to Functional Wellness and natural medicine. Roles and Responsibilities: - Supervising Physicians direct, review, teach, and support the work of our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to ensure that appropriate treatment is provided consistent with state law and company philosophy. - Physically examine patients; perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations. - Conduct health assessments including recording complete medical history. - Record symptoms: update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment. - Order and interpret laboratory test results. - Make diagnoses; analyse test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options. Qualifications: - Must have MD Family Practice experience - 2 years. - Active Unrestrictive MD or DO license. - Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. - Active NPI Report and DEA License required.
