ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • 13-week contract assignment working 36 hours per week • Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 4 weekend shifts per schedule rotation • Must float to facility Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs) as needed • Patient ratio of 4:1 • Work with electronic medical record system Meditech • Perform typical emergency department procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting • Required certifications: TNCC and ENPC (must have by start date), ACLS, and BLS • Greater than 2 years of experience preferred • Must be a great team player who anticipates needs for patients and department • Dress code requires navy blue scrubs and navy blue zip-up sweaters (pull-over sweatshirts not acceptable) • Work in 32-bed emergency department with comprehensive staffing including charge nurses, registered nurses, medics, and patient care technicians Facility: This medical center features a comprehensive 32-bed emergency department that provides advanced emergency care services.
