Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN-Interventional
Structural Heart to join our faith-based healthcare organization.
As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in our mission
to transform healthcare by delivering innovative and compassionate
care. This position involves specialized responsibilities in the
Cardiology department, focusing on the treatment of structural
heart conditions through minimally invasive techniques. Join us in
our efforts to empower communities and improve health outcomes with
personalized care. Assess and evaluate patient needs related to
structural heart conditions, ensuring personalized patient care.
Administer and monitor patient responses to medical treatments and
medications. Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare
professionals to develop effective interventional strategies.
Prepare patients for procedures like TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic
Valve Replacement) and other minimally invasive surgeries. Maintain
accurate patient records and provide education and support to
patients and their families regarding their conditions and
treatment plans. Adhere to all hospital safety protocols and
procedures to ensure quality of care and patient safety.
Proficiency in using medical diagnostic equipment and tools
relevant to interventional cardiology. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills to effectively work with a multidisciplinary
team. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, able to handle
complex situations under pressure. In-depth knowledge of cardiac
care units and structural heart disease treatments. Medical

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
BLS/ACLS Certification required. Specialized training or
certification in cardiovascular nursing or interventional
cardiology is highly desirable.
