Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/04/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Seasonal contract position for 13 weeks starting January 4th • Rotating weekend schedule required • No call requirements • Patient ratios: 1:4 in Emergency Department, 1:5 in Behavioral Health, 1:3 for cardiac/trauma patients • Work with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track areas, and 5 behavioral health units • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS • Preferred experience: Meditech EMR system, trauma experience, holding inpatient experience, CPI certification • Equipment used: Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers • Typical procedures: splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morgan lens procedures, rapid infuser management, resuscitation • Must be a multitasker, team player, and self-starter • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required for RN position • Work with team of 111 staff members including charge nurses, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides emergency services with a robust emergency department featuring multiple specialized areas including private rooms, fast track services, and dedicated behavioral health units.
