Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a
high-volume, Level IV maternal care setting requiring a TX or
compact RN license and advanced certifications. Responsibilities -
Work in a Level IV Maternal Designation hospital with 20 LDR
suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, 51 mother-baby couplet
rooms, and 14 monitored antepartum rooms - Serve in a busy,
high-risk Labor & Delivery unit with over 500 deliveries per month
- Academic teaching environment with collaborative private OB
practices - 24-hour in-house attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU
coverage - Night shift position, working 19:00 to 07:30 -
Participation in a Perinatal Transport Program - Responsibilities
include providing care for complex and high-risk labor and delivery
patients - Team-based environment with strong support from
attending physicians and anesthesia - Unit expansion planned with
the opening of a new Women's Tower in late 2025 - No COVID-19
vaccination required - Local candidates are accepted at a reduced
pay rate per facility radius rules - Compliance with one position
submission policy system-wide Requirements - Active TX or compact
RN license - Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or perinatal
experience in a high-volume delivery service - BLS, ACLS (must be
AHA or ARC), and NRP (AHA/AAP Pediatric) certifications required -
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required - Associate's
Degree in Nursing from an accredited program - All clinicians must
possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address - Primary
source license verification via Nursys within 30 days prior to
start - Driver’s license and two professional references required
