Description The Texas Children’s North Austin NICU has a total of
12 intensive care rooms. The typical nurse to patient ratio is
1:1-3 depending upon patient acuity. The North Austin NICU
routinely provides the highest level of medical/nursing care to
neonates requiring the maximum level of support and technology
available to infants today. Seeking Level IV designation About The
