Details - Specialty: Pediatrics - Subspecialty Interest: Pediatric Pulmonology - Schedule: Monday – Thursday with Friday as protected time - Call Schedule: 1 week every 8 weeks for primary call – no outpatient clinics; Secondary call every 3 weeks - Practice Detail: 6 MD, 1 DO, 2 PA, 2 NP, Social worker, clinical staff: 9 RN, 14 CMAs, Administrative Staff–12, Administrative and Clinical Management - EMR System: Athena (outpatient), Cerner (inpatient) - Facility: Dell Children's Medical Center, Ascension Seton Medical Center, Strictly Pediatrics Clinic, Far West Clinic, University Oaks Clinic - Location: Austin, Texas This job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type. Responsibilities Ascension Seton and Dell Children's Medical Group are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Pulmonology Physician to join a dynamic pulmonology team serving Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas! New fellowship graduates or experienced physicians are encouraged to apply. Position Highlights: - Exciting opportunity to join a busy and growing USNW (US News and World report) top 50 Pediatric Pulmonology practice in a desirable location. - The program serves Central Texas with outpatient clinics located throughout Austin and the Temple area. - Call coverage is shared among the providers and is currently 1 week every 8 weeks. - Competitive compensation and benefits package available - Specialty clinics include Cystic Fibrosis, Aerodigestive, Neuromuscular, Severe Asthma, Sickle Cell and Sleep Medicine. - There is a desire to develop Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia and an Interventional Bronchoscopy program. - Affiliation with Dell Medical School is available with opportunities to educate and mentor medical students and pediatric residents. - The close proximity of the University of Texas provides opportunity for research collaboration.
