qualified Oncology RN in San Antonio, Texas, 78229! Pay Information
$1,622 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job
Specialty: Oncology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12x3 - Rotating
days and nights from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,
including weekends Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in oncology nursing, with experience in
Mediports, PICCs, and central lines License: Active Texas RN
License (temporary licenses not accepted) Certifications: Basic
Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: - Oncology experience -
Experience with Mediports, PICCs, and central lines - Ability to
float as needed according to organizational policy Job Description:
- Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related procedures -
Perform central line and mediport access, as well as lab draws -
Conduct CHG baths, including central lines and dressings -
Administer blood product transfusions - Follow all protocols for
temperature and chemo administration - Maintain clean and neat
professional appearance following the dress code, including navy
scrubs for RNs - Ensure body art is covered as feasible and adhere
to the policy on visible piercings - Comply with organizational
guidelines, including attendance policies and central line dressing
changes - Demonstrate commitment to patient-focused care and uphold
the values and mission of the organization This position offers the
