From nursing staffing, temp to hire, and permanent to healthcare contracts, 10bits provides hospitals and medical facilities with high-quality clinical professionals with the highest standards and compliance to provide the best medical care.Job Title: Radiology TechnicianJob Location: Austin, TX 78704Job Type: Contract - 13 weeksJob Duties:* Completing the patients' intake process, taking patients' histories, and preparing and educating patients about the imaging procedure.* Reviewing patients' charts and Doctors' notes before the examination and maintaining patients' records during and after procedures.* Preparing radiopharmaceuticals for contrast in the diagnostic images.* Positioning patients and equipment to capture the correct area and produce clear images.* Monitoring patients and ensuring their safety during imaging procedures.* Logging and organizing image results, developing film, assisting with the interpretation of the radiograph results, and consulting with Radiologists to determine if other images need to be taken.* Ensuring the proper sterilization and storage of the equipment, maintaining radiographic equipment, and reporting any equipment failures.Job Requirements:* 2+ years of Radiology Technician experience* BLS* ARRT* TX State License* Travelers outside 50 miles of the facilitySchedule:* Night Shift* 3x12* 19:00 PM - 07:00 AMAH01Job Type: ContractPay: $50.00 - $51.00 per hourSchedule:* 12 hour shift* Night shiftApplication Question(s):* Traveler candidate must be outside 50 miles of the facilityExperience:* Radiology Technician: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* ARRT Certification (Required)* TX State License (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
